Internship opportunity offered on a fruit farm in the prefecture Wakayama in Japan.

ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP:
Experience life here on the farm!

Kannonyama Fruit Garden offers an internship program to both domestic and international applicants who want to come and see what we're all about. During the internship, you are invited to participate in the wide range of tasks and jobs we do here. Through this program, you will have the opportunity to experience our world-class fruit and to learn about the production, processing, shipping and marketing involved.

We believe that through the internship program, we can share our passion for agriculture, our business, our culture and most importantly our friendship.

INTERN DUTIES:
We have five main areas that interns are involved in.

On the fields:
-Fruit picking (October - January is the main harvest season)
-Fruit maintenance, e.g. planting, fertilizing, irrigation, fruit thinning (removing unnecessary fruits from the tree in the growing season) etc.
-Farm maintenance, e.g. repairs, mowing, etc.

In packaging:
-Fruit quality inspection
-Fruit sorting, e.g. into A (very good fruits grade, B (moderate fruits) grade, sizes, etc.
-Packaging fruits and other products such as our fruit juices to ready for sale

In the factory:
-Processing fruit into our various products, e.g. jams, curds, dried fruits, syrups, etc.
-Attention! Here are high hygiene standards! You have to be fit and healthy to work here.

In the office:
-Maintaining English website and social media (Facebook and Instagram)
-Blogging about internship experience and travel experiences during the internship. (Native language and English)
-Data entry

In our parlour:
-Drinks preparation for our guests
-Help with the dishes
-Cut fruits
-Prepare the restaurant for guests in the morning

In the community:
-Participating in community events (e.g. help with the preparations of the Kanshasai (Thanksgiving) festival)
-Manning market stalls selling and educating people about our products

Otherwise, helping Kannonyama staff with any special needs or events as they may arise.

INTERNSHIP PERIOD:
The length of your internship is very flexible and you can choose the time period because we are looking for interns in every season. However it should be noted that we prefer that you stay longer than a week.

ACCOMODATION AND FOOD:
Interns are welcome to stay at our company house which is close to the farm. Accomodation and food costs are covered for duration of your internship.

Kannonyama Fruit Garden offre des possibilités de stages pour des candidats à la fois japonais et venants d'autres pays qui souhaitent venir et voir comment nous travaillons ici. Pendant ce stage, vous êtes invités à participer à des tâches et des travaux variés de la ferme tout en restant chez nous. Grâce à ce programme, vous aurez l'opportunité de découvrir nos fruits de première qualité et d'apprendre comment se déroule la production, la transformation, l'expédition et le marketing.

Nous pensons qu'à travers ce programme nous pourrons partager notre passion pour l'agriculture, notre business, notre culture et le plus important notre amitié.

TÂCHES DES STAGIAIRES:
Nous avons cinq principaux groupes dans lesquels les stagiaires participent.

Dans les champs:
-Cueillette de fruits (la récolte se fait principalement entre Octobre et Janvier)
-Entretien autour des fruits (ex: Plantation, fertilisation, irrigation, amincissement des arbres fruitiers, etc.)
-Entretien de la ferme (ex: réparation, tonte, etc)

Dans le tri et l'emballage:
-Inspection de la qualité des fruits
-Tri des fruits dans des catégories A, B, la taille, etc
-Emballage des fruits pour leur mise en vente
-Préparation et mise en boite des commandes internet à livrer

Dans l'usine:
-Transformation des fruits en nos divers produits (ex: confiture, curd, fruit sec, sirop, etc)

Dans le bureau:
-Mise à jour du site internet anglais et des réseaux sociaux
-Bloguer sur son expérience pendant le stage (en langue maternelle)
-Saisie de données

Dans notre salon:
-Préparation de boissons pour nos clients
-Aide aux plats
-Les fruits coupés
-Préparer le restaurant pour les clients le matin

Au sein de la communauté:
-Participation aux événements communautaires
-Mise en place de stands de marche en vendant et faisant connaitre nos produits aux clients.

Sinon, aider le personnel de Kannonyama dans n'importe quelles tâches ou événements qui peuvent survenir.

PÉRIODE DE STAGE:
Sous réserve d'accord, le stage peut se s'effectuer durant la période de votre choix. Il est préféré
que celui-ci dure plus d'une semaine.

HÉBERGEMENT ET NOURRITURE:
Les stagiaires sont invités à rester à la maison de notre entreprise qui se trouve à proximité de la ferme. Les frais de logement et de nourriture sont couverts pour la durée de votre stage.

Kannonyama Fruit Garden bietet sowohl inländischen als auch aus dem Ausland kommenden Bewerbern, die unser Unternehmen kennenlernen möchten, ein Praktikum an. In diesem besteht die Möglichkeit die gesamte Bandbreite an Aufgaben und Arbeiten innerhalb der Farm auszuprobieren. Du hast die Chance unsere erstklassigen Früchte zu probieren und bei der Produktion, der Verarbeitung, dem Versand sowie bei der Vermarktung zu helfen.

Wir hoffen durch dieses Programm unsere Leidenschaft für unsere Landwirtschaft, unser Unternehmen, unserer Kultur und vor allem unsere Freundschaft,zu teilen

AUFGABEN DER PRAKTIKANTEN

Wir haben f ünf Hauptbereiche, in denen wir Praktikanten einsetzen.

Auf dem Feld:
-Früchte pflücken (Haupterntezeit ist von Oktober bis Januar)
-Früchte pflegen z.B. Bäume pflanzen, düngen, Bewässerung, Ausdünnung der Früchte (das Entfernen überzähliger Früchte vom Baum in der Wachstumsperiode)
-Farminstandhaltung, z.B.Reparaturen,Mähen, etc.

In der Verpackung/Lager:
-Fruchtqualitätsüberprüfung
-Fruchtsortierung, z.B. in die A (sehr gute Früchte) oder die B ( mittelmäßige Früchte) Klasse, nach Größe und Gewicht.
-Früchte und sonstige Produkte wie unserere Fruchtsäfte verkaufsfertig verpacken

In der Fabrik :
-Verarbeitung von Früchten in die verschiedensten Produkte wie z.B. Marmelade, Mus, getrocknete Früchte und Sirup
-Achtung! Hier herrschen hohe Hygiene Standards! Ihr müsst top fit sein,um hier zu arbeiten.

In unserem Parlour
-Getränke Vorbereitung für unsere Gäste
-Beim Abwasch helfen
-Obst schneiden
-Das Restaurant morgens für die Gäste vorbereiten

Im Büro :
-Pflege der englischen Website und der sozialen Netzwerke. (Facebook und Instagram)
-Blogeinträge über Praktikumserfahrungen/Reiseerfahrungen während des Praktikums
-Datenpflege

Community Aufgaben :
-Teilnahme an verschiedene Events ( z.B. bei den Vorbereitungen des Kanshasai (Thanksgiving) Fest helfen.)
-Verkauf und Informierung an einem Stand über die Firma und unsere Produkte

Ansonsten, jegliche anderen Aufgaben,die anfallen, um das Kannonyama Team zu unterstützen.

DAUER DES PRAKTIKUMS
Die Länge deines Praktikums ist sehr flexibel wählbar, da wir zu jeder Jahreszeit Praktikanten suchen. Jedoch ist zu beachten, dass ihr vorzugsweise länger als eine Woche bleibt.

UNTERKUNFT UND VERPFLEGUNG
Praktikanten sind herzlich willkommen, in unserem Firmenhaus nahe der Farm zu bleiben. Die Kosten für die Unterkunft, Essen und Internet werden für die Dauer deines Praktikums von dem Unternehmen übernommen.

Vous devez être en bonne forme physique et en bonne santé grâce au travail sur le terrain. Cela peut être très fatigant et stressant (surtout pendant les chauds mois d'été).

Ihr solltet aufgrund der Feldarbeit körperlich fit und gesund sein. Diese kann nämlich (besonders in den heißen Sommermonaten) sehr anstrengend und belastend sein.

The ability to speak Japanese is not required. However, fluency in English and conversational Japanese would be preferred.

La capacité de parler japonais n'est pas requise. Cependant, être à l'aise en anglais ainsi qu'avoir des bases en japonais serait préféré.

Japanische Sprachkenntnisse sind keine Voraussetzung. Trotzdem sollten fließende Englischkenntnisse und Umgangsjapanisch vorzugsweise vorhanden sein.
