Job offering: Development Manager at Passiv Energie Japan Inc.
Passiv Energie Japan Inc. is a leading provider of innovative energy saving solutions. Our development center in Tokyo is responsible for product development for the domestic and international market. Our development team consists of engineers from various nations, with a focus on Germany and Japan, as these are also our main marketplaces. Therefore, good language skills in English and Japanese, as well as German, are desirable in order to effectively process feedback from sales departments.
We are seeking a Development Manager with a strong background in electronics development, embedded system engineering, and firmware development to join our team in Tokyo. As the Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the development team, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and successfully. You will work closely with our management team to define our development strategy and plan and monitor the implementation of projects.
Requirements for this position include good English and Japanese language skills, as well as experience in project management and personnel management. You should have experience in designing electronic assemblies and experience in firmware development in C language. In addition, you should have experience with sensors, data analysis, and simulation, e.g. with Oktavia, and good knowledge of Linux and GNU tools.
