Tasks:
Experience firsthand business development for cutting edge augmented reality technology
in the automotive aftersales market. We want you to contribute your own ideas and use your experience in engineering and economics to find solutions for the customer needs and enhance the business relationships. You will assist your mentor with diverse tasks, have to communicate with our global distributed partners, understand the product and the challenges of the industrialization of AR technology and provide the customer an easy to understand solution for complex problems.

This is the perfect position for all engineers who want to experience something else than a developer role.

Required specialized knowledge

Don’t fulfill all the requirements? No problem at all! A perfect person doesn’t exists. But if you recognize yourself in some of these points or willing to learn a lot, give it a try.
- Necessary: Great communication skills and the ability to understand customer needs and other stakeholder interests to provide an easy solution for complex problems.
- Necessary: Interest to learn new things, no fear of new challenges and be passionate about what you do.
- Highly preferred: Understanding of business development, customer management, solution finding.
- Highly preferred: Basic engineering knowledge (automotive market or comparable)
- Highly preferred: Understanding of software development processes (not programming, the stages of SW development)
- Nice to have: Programming experience with AR/VR, especially in C and Unity 3D
- Nice to have: Understanding of industrial 3D Data (VRML, CAD, CATIA, X3D, SolidWorks, etc.)
- Nice to have: understanding of PMI (Product Manufacturing Information)

Preferred language abilities

- Fluent English required.
- Intermediate Japanese Preferred.

Preferred skills

- Refer to Required specialized knowledge
- Communication and coordination skill.

Additionally, you should:
- Be able to stay for a period of 6-12 months at our company.
- Be regularly enrolled at a university during the entire internship period.
- Be flexible, willing and motivated to live and work in a different culture.

Please note that applicants who are not Japanese nationals need to be eligible to obtain the Designated Activities Visa for an internship with Bosch Corporation Japan. Therefore, only students who fulfill the following conditions are eligible to apply (proof required):
A.) Enrolled student at a university at least 3 months before the internship and for the entire internship period
B.) Doing the internship will require your university to sign a document confirming that the internship represents a mandatory or strongly recommended part of your university curriculum when applying for your visa
